View Event Photos
Safe Teen Driver’s
first event following the airing of Crossroads: A
Story of Forgiveness was a tremendous success. The
organization partnered with C.A.R.S. (Cops Against
Racing on Streets), to bring the first “Show
Off Your Ride” car show to Pinellas County.
Held at the world-famous
Quaker Steak and Lube, the day-long event featured
cool cars and hot wheels, lots of great music, door
prizes and delicious food. Dozens of awesome cars
and motorcycles were featured, and a number of proud
owners took home trophies for their vehicles.
Several young drivers who had been
convicted of a vehicular crime took time to speak
about their ordeals and how Safe Teen Driver was helping
them to reach out the community and share their experiences.
The speakers included Justin Cabezas, John Templeton
Jr. and Jessica Rasdall.
Safe Teen Driver wants to thank
everyone involved with making the event a success
and especially Crown Cars, the Lay Family and Quaker
Steak and Lube.
And keep
your eye out, Pinellas County. “Show Off Your
Ride” will cruise in again sometime. Check back
to this Web site for more details.

Crossroads: A Story of Forgiveness
Hallmark Hall of Fame Movie
Bruce Murakami and all the staff
at Safe Teen Driver have been deeply touched by the
overwhelming response received after the airing of
Hallmark Hall of Fame’s production of Crossroads:
A Story of Forgiveness this past April. We have had
over 1 million responses including hundreds of requests
to speak at schools, businesses and local civic groups
around the country—and the communication continues
even today.
Thank you to everyone who
watched the movie or felt compelled to contact Bruce.
